新GMに武田法久が就任

本年、創部50周年という大きな節目にGMを拝命いたしました。BIG BLUEがこれまで大切にしてきた「何事にもプロフェッショナルであれ」という伝統を確実に継承しながら、時代に適応した形へと進化させる“継承と新生”を実行してまいります。
私はフットボールプレーヤーとしての経験に加え、IBMでのビジネス経験、さらに自ら会社経営に携わってきた実践的な経営視点を有しております。競技と事業の両面を統合的に捉え、組織運営に反映させていくことが私の強みです。この強みを生かし、勝利を追求する組織づくりと同時に、持続可能で再現性のある運営基盤の確立に取り組んでまいります。
また、ヘッドコーチをはじめ、オフェンス・ディフェンス・スペシャルチームの各コーディネーターにも優れた指導者を迎え、新体制のもとで競技力の向上と組織力の強化を図りながら、BIG BLUEの新たな歴史を築いてまいります。
そして何より、選手たちへの温かいご声援をお願い申し上げます。彼らは平日はそれぞれの職務に全力でコミットしながら、限られた時間を捻出してトレーニングに励み、競技力向上に挑み続けています。ビジネスパーソンとして高い成果を追求しながら、トップレベルのアスリートとして戦う。その姿は決して当たり前ではなく、本当に素晴らしいことです。ぜひ、彼らの挑戦と活躍を力強く応援していただければ幸いです。

This year, as our club marks its 50th anniversary, I have been appointed as General Manager. While faithfully carrying forward BIG BLUE’s long-standing tradition of “being professional in all that we do,” I am committed to executing a vision of continuity and renewal—preserving our heritage while evolving in ways that meet the demands of a new era.
In addition to my experience as a football player, I bring business experience at IBM and hands-on executive leadership from managing my own company. My strength lies in integrating perspectives from both sport and business, and applying them to organizational management. Leveraging this strength, I will work to build a team that relentlessly pursues victory while establishing a sustainable and repeatable operational foundation.
Under our new leadership structure, we have appointed outstanding coaches, including our Head Coach and Coordinators for Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. Together, we will elevate both our competitive performance and organizational capability, and write a new chapter in BIG BLUE’s history.
Above all, I would like to ask for your continued support of our players. While fully committing themselves to their professional responsibilities during the workweek, they dedicate additional time and energy to rigorous training and competition. Striving for excellence as business professionals while competing as elite athletes is far from ordinary—it is truly remarkable. We sincerely hope you will support and celebrate their dedication and achievements.
